holiday specials: pocket sketch books and drawing/sketching sets

November 25th, 2009 by jim winstead

We’ll admit that we are a little old-fashioned and aren’t even planning on putting up our holiday decorations until after Thanksgiving. But we will embrace the new-fangled notion of day-after-Thanksgiving deals. (We won’t call it Black Friday, since we’re already in the black for the year.)

Pen & Ink Sketch Books You might recognize these Pen & Ink Sketch Books from Art Alternatives as being similar to a product from another company that doesn’t actually involve the skin of any moles. The 3.5×5.5″ sketch books come with lines, grids, or just plain paper (as well as in a landscape format with plain paper). The MSRP for these is $9.99, and you may have seen some varieties of these on our clearance table recently for $4.99. We were able to get our hands on more, and we’re blowing them out for the incredible price of $2.99 each.

Sketching and Drawing Sets And once you have a sketch book, you need something to draw or sketch with, right? We have another great deal on 12 and 24 piece drawing and sketching sets.

The 12-piece Sketching Tin Set includes six graytone pastel sticks, three graphite pencils and three pastel drawing pencils. The 24-piece set includes four pastel drawing pencils, six graytone pastel sticks, three charcoal pencils, three woodless charcoal pencils, four graphite sketching pencils, a kneaded eraser, a latex-free eraser and two pencil sharpeners.

The 12-piece Drawing Tin Set includes five colored pencils, six colored pastel sticks, and a graphite sketching pencil. The 24-piece set includes ten colored pencils, two metallic colored pencils, eight colored pastel sticks, two graphite pencils, a kneaded eraser, and a pencil sharpener.

12-piece sets have an MSRP of $14.99, but are now on sale for just $4.99. The 24-piece sets have an MSRP of $29.99, and are on sale for just $9.99.

These deals will only be available while supplies last.
