Art Supplies: Framing: Printing: More in Downtown Los Angeles

new: nitram charcoal

February 23rd, 2012 by Jim Winstead

Nitram Charcoal was another much beloved fine art product that was almost lost and has been brought back. Discontinued by its initial manufacturer in France, an enterprising Canadian artist named Jerzy Niedojadlo was able to acquire the know-how and equipment used to produce what some consider to be the world’s finest charcoal for drawing.

Nitram Charcoal comes in packs of five “batons” in three different grades (soft, medium, and hard). They are currently only available at the store, not from our online store.
