Digital Fine Art Printing

What about gicleé prints? The word gicleé was coined as a marketing term in the early days of producing fine art prints using ink jet printing technologies. We prefer to describe what we produce as “archival pigment prints,” which better describes the printing process and properties, but this is the type of print to which most people are referring when they use “gicleé.”

With our state-of-the-art Epson Stylus Pro 9900 and access to a wide range of digital photo and fine art papers and canvas, we are ready to make your artwork or photography shine. This is a direct-to-print service (see our notes on file preparation), and the pricing is based on the print size and type of paper or canvas you select. We have samples of our printing and the papers available in the store for your inspection.

The turnaround on printing is generally two to five business days for prints on paper, and four to seven business days for prints on canvas (due to the additional coating process). Stretching of the printed canvas can require up to an additional week.

If you have questions about our printing services, check our list of frequently asked questions or contact us at the store.

In addition to digital fine art printing, we can also produce high-quality scans of works on paper and offer a full range of custom fine art framing services as well as a selection of ready-made frames in popular sizes.
