Sierra is a robust #12 cotton canvas that is sized and triple primed, giving it a 14.6 oz. finished weight. A very strong support, this canvas offers a lot of surface resistance, yet it maintains a smoother surface texture making it easier on artist brushes. The canvas works well with aggressive painting techniques, and heavy paint applications. It works great with oil and acrylic paints, and is both acid free and pH balanced.
