18" x 60" #12 Unprimed Cotton Vincent Pro Canvas Masterpiece

Unprimed #12 Cotton canvas allows you to take control of your art by preparing your own surface. Use bare expanses of canvas as part of the finished painting, or prime the surface as you like — it’s all in your control. Works great for staining techniques of pouring thinned paints or inks onto raw canvas. Staining achieves a fluid and spontaneous convergence of the image and the fabric that is not possible with gesso-prepared canvases.

Monet Pro stretched canvases feature a 1½" profile with a ½" lip that keeps the canvas surface positioned high above the bars to prevent lines and indentations. The key-able cross bracing on canvas sizes 20" × 20" and up offers additional strength, stability and warp-resistance.

Vincent Pro stretched canvases feature a 7/8" profile with a 5/16" lip that keeps the canvas surface positioned high above the bars to prevent lines and indentations. The key-able cross bracing on sizes 16" × 16" and up offers additional strength, stability and warp resistance.

Stretched using MasterWrap technology, this canvas offers a drum-tight, archival surface that can be further adjusted using the pre-installed corner and brace keys. Folded corners and extra canvas selvage allow for re-stretching, and the clean staple free edges are great for display without a frame. The solid, finger-joint free, kiln-dried bars are milled with lumber harvested from sustainable forests in both Oregon and California.
