Arnhem 1618 Pads Speedball

Speedball partnered with Schut Papier, a paper mill located near the city of Arnhem, Holland, that has been producing fine art paper since 1618, to create this premium 100% rag printmaking paper. The paper is extremely versatile and appropriate for a variety of techniques and media. It offers a semi-smooth surface with a substantial feel to the touch. The subtle grain combined with a smooth appearance allows a variety of media to take to the paper while remaining a reliable surface for intricate detail. Arnhem's strong and highly absorbent fibers make it ideal for dry or damp printing, allowing it to accept multiple layers of ink brilliantly. Internally and surface sized, and acid-free.

The pads feature easy-to-use flip-over covers that allow paper sheets to tear out cleanly. The full sized sheets are ideal for finished prints. Made in the USA.

These 100% cotton, acid-free archival paper sheets are ideal for a broad array of printmaking applications including relief, lithography, intaglio and screen print. High-quality 90 lb. (245gsm) printmaking paper created in partnership with Holland's Schut Papier. The strong, absorbent, acid-free printmaking paper in the Speedball Printmaking Pad is suitable for all techniques, including intaglio and relief printing. It works well both dry and damp.


Unbleached Mulberry Block Printing Paper Speedball Drop Ship Only

This 9" x 12" unbleached 45g/m2 artist block printing paper has a neutral pH and is made in Thailand of mulberry and bamboo fiber. The sheets are thin, but strong, smooth on one side and lightly textured on the other side. It is ideal for lino block, wood block, silkscreen printing, sumi painting, light water media, bookbinding and digital photo reproductions.


Lightweight Printmaking Pads (Series 300) Strathmore Drop Ship Only
