Imagine holding a giant permanent marker – 7” long with a 7/8” diameter to be exact – to express unlimited creativity or functional marking. Both the edding 800 and 850 permanent markers have an aluminum barrel with a specially conceived end to host the cap while working. They can be used on metal, plastic, cardboard, glass, wood and leather.
The alcohol-based ink is odorless thanks to the lack of added toluene or xylene (two fairly toxic component edding stays away from). The fast-drying ink is waterproof and wear-resistant on almost all surfaces. And because edding is environmentally conscious, the markers are refillable, either by capillarity or simply by unscrewing the front and pouring some ink. The nibs can also be replaced; in fact, once worn, the nib can be pulled out and turned around, increasing the life of the product.
The 800 features a chisel square nib with strokes ranging from 4 to 12mm and is offered in 7 colors, while the 850 marker has a chisel rectangular nib with 5 to 15mm strokes and is available in the 4 most commonly used colors (black, blue, red and green).
