Aluminum Screen Printing Frames

Aluminum Screen Printing Frames Jacquard

Jacquard’s pre-stretched aluminum screen printing frames are cut and welded by hand and each weld carefully sanded smooth. Watertight, perfectly flat and precisely stretched, the white 110 mesh is evenly taut and adhered to the frame with the most durable glue. Jacquard’s screens are strong and durable yet lightweight and economical, made from top quality 20 mm x 30 mm x 1 mm hollow aluminum-allow stock. The dimensions given (10" x 14" and 12" x 16") are inner dimensions, because when it comes to designing and printing, those are the ones that count!

Color Magnet Jacquard

This screen printing medium magically attracts more dye where it is applied. It doesn't stiffen the fabric, so the two-toned result is perfectly soft. Simply silkscreen it directly from the jar onto fabric, let dry thoroughly and dye according to dye package instructions. Color Magnet will attract more dye where it has been applied. Drying can be aided by the use of a hair dryer.

Photo Emulsion & Diazo Sensitizer

Photo Emulsion & Diazo Sensitizer Jacquard

Photo Emulsion (used with the accompanying Diazo Sensitizer) is a light-sensitive emulsion used to burn stencils directly into a silk screen for photo imaging. It is the staple emulsion for making screens with photos, lettering, logos or detailed images. This photo emulsion is super durable, allowing for superior detail, and is easily reclaimed from the screen using diluted bleach.

Puff Additive Jacquard

Jacquard Puff Additive is used to increase the relief of prints on paper, fabric and other surfaces. Simply mix a little of the additive into your Jacquard Professional Screen Ink (up to 20%), print as usual and then apply heat to your print. The microspheres in the Puff Additive expand with heat, giving you a raised print only after heating. Once puffed, the print is washfast and dry cleanable.

This product allows users to achieve bright, vibrant color on dyed dark fabrics without having to lay down an undercoat of white ink. Simply add it to screen ink then screen it and steam it. This process helps retain a softer hand on the fabric than is achievable with multiple layers of ink and reduces the amount of screening necessary. It works only on dyed fabrics. Testing is recommended to ensure that the fabric dye is dischargeable. In an 8 oz. bottle.

Screen Life Jacquard

Screen Life is an essential additive for screen printing with water-based textile inks. Add it to textile paints or to Lumiere to prevent drying in the screen. Screen Life allows for more open time in the screen and makes washing up much quicker.

Softening Additive

Jacquard Softening Additive is used to soften the hand of Jacquard Professional Screen Inks on fabric. Jacquard Professional Screen Inks are water-based, multi-surface inks with excellent adhesion on all sorts of textiles, including synthetic and waterproofed fabrics. Often, when printing on lightweight fabrics and apparel, a softer print may be desirable. Jacquard Softening Additive makes this possible.

Block Out Tape Speedball

This tape is a self-wound polyethylene film tape coated with an aggressive adhesive. It's water based adhesive resists inks & solvents and withstands multiple pressure washed and solvent baths. It is easy to apply and removes cleanly from frames and mesh with no adhesive residue.

Formulated for use with System 3 Acrylic Colors, this screen printing medium is designed to combine with acrylic paint to produce economical, low-odor, water-based and solvent-free screen printing ink that is ideal for use in schools, studios and at home. It slows down on-screen drying of acrylic color, reducing the risk of screen blocking and making it easier to wash out. It can be thinned with water. When mixed with this medium, colors retain great density of color, and very substantial covering power can be achieved on paper, card and board without undue cockling. If printing on textiles, this medium should be mixed in roughly equal quantities with colors.

Formulated for use with System 3 Acrylic Colors, this screen printing medium is designed to combine with acrylic paint to produce economical, low-odor, water-based and solvent-free screen printing ink that is ideal for printing on fabric. The medium performs very well on cotton, cotton blends, most natural fibers, silk and synthetics. It should be mixed in roughly equal quantities with System 3 Acrylic Colors.

This medium can be applied by brush directly to the screen printing screen to create a drawn image. It can be applied full strength but often requires some dilution with water in areas with finer detail. Once dry, the entire screen surface is blocked out with System 3 Removable Screen Block, which is applied with a squeegee. After drying, the drawn image is washed out in cold water to leave an open-mesh positive image ready for printing.
