Ceramic Underglaze Speedball

Opaque and bright, these intense underglaze colors are highly saturated for spectacular results. The colors can be blended and won't move or bleed, making them perfect for detailed painting, sgraffito or design work. They may be applied to greenware or bisque and are compatible with both the stoneware and earthenware covering glaze. These glazes are also easy to clean up with water, dinnerware safe when applied and fired as directed (firing range is cone 06-6), AP non-toxic and lead-free. Blackjack Clay Activa Warehouse Only

Blackjack Clay is a versatile, smooth-textured, natural clay that can be high fired or air dried. It is extremely pliable, easy-to-throw on a wheel and is ideal for modeling, hand building or sculpting. Unfired it is close to the color of milk chocolate. Once fired, the clay will become a soft buff or tan color. It is non-toxic, kid-safe and easy to clean up.

Bisque Fix Amaco Warehouse Only

This white paste is excellent for bonding together pieces of bisque or filling broken cavities. Using metal oxides or ceramic stains it can be colored to match the bisque. To set the Bisque Fix, fire to the temperature of the clay and glaze being used up to Cone 10 (2381°F, 1305°C).

Velvet Underglaze Amaco Warehouse Only

These semi-translucent underglazes have the appearance of velour or velvet when left unglazed and will intensify in color when covered with Amaco Gloss Glaze (AO39299W). The underglazes can be used for all-over coverage similar to an opaque underglaze. They fire true to color as applied from the jar and may be mixed to create a palette of hundreds of colors.
