Printed Matter’s LA Art Book Fair 2019

Printed Matter’s LA Art Book Fair, April 12-14, 2019, Opening Night April 11

Art books. Yet another expensive habit I can’t shake, like I don’t know, living in Los Angeles. But omg, don’t you just love art books? Printed Matter’s LA Art Book Fair in Little Tokyo will host 100+ FREE conversations, workshops, performances, and other artist-led programs. And art books. The event draws more than 35,000 individuals including book lovers, collectors, artists, and art world professionals each year. Programs also include curated exhibitor sections, publication-focused exhibitions, and signings and launches of new books.

Printed Matter’s LA Art Book Fair (LAABF) returns to The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA in 2019. This year’s Fair welcomes 390 exhibitors from more than 30 countries, featuring small press publishers, artists, collectives, institutions, galleries, antiquarian booksellers, and distributors, including the participation of nearly 100 first-time exhibitors. As always, the fair will be free and open to the public.
