Meet M. Graham Paint Artist Ambassador Ron Stocke, Watercolorist

“The watercolor medium is honest, challenging and always new. It is the oldest pursuit that I know and has enriched my life at every level. While sometimes frustrating even for the most experienced watercolor painter, it is invigorating and always a learning experience.”

An award-winning watercolor artist, Ron Stocke is a regular contributor to, and has been a cover artist for Watercolor Artist Magazine as well as other publications. Teaching comprehensive workshops throughout North America and Europe, he also conducts demonstrations and lectures on various art materials and creating a safe, environmentally friendly studio. Ron holds Signature Membership with the American Watercolor Society, National Watercolor Society, Northwest Watercolor Society, is an elected member of the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour, and a member of the American Impressionist Society. He has been an Artist Ambassador for M.Graham Watercolors for over 15 years.

Introducing QoR Watercolor Ground

Watercolor Ground by QoR is a fluid acrylic primer that creates a porous surface similar to hot press paper on many different materials, including canvas and panel. You don’t have to limit your watermedia-based art to only paper, you have options. Watercolor Ground dries to an absorbent, lightfast, and flexible surface that withstands repeated lifting and scrubbing. Suitable for a full range of watercolor techniques, including wash and staining effects, Watercolor Ground can also be used to return stained areas to an absorbent white surface. During the month of March, QoR Modern Watercolors, Mediums, and Grounds are on sale for 40% off !!!

Michele Usibelli and M. Graham Gouache Paint

Check out this video of artist Michele Usibelli using M. Graham Artists’ Gouache Paint for her studio and plein air work. M. Graham Gouache is made in the time-honored tradition of binding pigment with pure honey and gum arabic, just as it was for Dürer and Boucher. The base of Northwest blackberry honey protects the color’s brilliance and offers direct, smooth application.
